Almost no vehicle, no matter if daily driver, classic car or sportscar can keep their battery performance over a long period without cable connection to a battery charger. This is a thing of the past now.
Almost no vehicle, no matter if daily driver, classic car or sportscar can keep their battery performance over a long period without cable connection to a battery charger. Repeated annoying cable connection and disconnection is no fun at all.
This is not necessary anymore with the wireless charger smart-load. A transmitter is placed on the garage floor or mounted on the wall and maintains the vehicle battery. There is no electronic surveillance necessary. An integrated charge-control prevents any overcharging.
smart-load also works for vehicles with two batteries, like campers or small trucks.
The receiver with the two charging cables is mounted on the vehicle floor with suitable screws/bolts or brackets. It should not be mounted near the exhaust system.
One cable is connected to the negative terminal of the battery or directly to the car body. The second cable is connected to the positive terminal of the battery. The cable to the positive terminal has an integrated fuse box (5 A).
Mounting distance: the distance to the roadway/garage floor should be between 15 – 24cm.
Charging power: the vehicle battery is charged with 0,1 to 1.2 Amperes. The integrated controller prevents overcharging of the battery.
Battery size: batteries between 1 Ah and 300 Ah can be charged.
Charging/Parking position: the transmitter sends an acoustical signal to guide to the correct charging position.
The vehicle/receiver position can be out of the center of the transmitter up to 10 – 12 centimeters. When no vehicle is placed above the transmitter, it gets into a stand-by mode.
Operated floor- or wall-mounted
12 – 24 V DC
Distance transmitter – receive: 10 – 25 cm
Battery size: 1 – 200 Ah
